We are excited to announce our first retreat at W. E. Skelton 4-H Educational Conference Center on Smith Mountain Lake. This retreat will be packed with fun, sewing, laughing and learning.  Fork Mtn Quilting aims to provide a happy sewing place where you can sew all you want, learn a few new skills and enjoy the company of friends. How you spend your time at our retreat is up you:  finish up UFO’s, start a new project, attend a demo, or shop at Fork Mtn Quilting.

The total cost of the retreat is $400.00 per person.

We will also have a number of day slots available. (Wednesday-Saturday). Sleep in your own bed but retreat with us during the day (9am -5pm). $35 per day or $125 for all 4 days (no meals included).

Our 2025 Spring Retreat Fee Includes:

• Lodging- Double Occupancy (each rooms has 2 beds and private bathrooms.) You will need to bring your own linens. ( we have a few single occupancy spaces) available please contact store for pricing.
• 4 Days of sewing
• 4 Breakfasts (Thursday-Sunday)
• 4 Dinners (Wednesday – Saturday)

• Individual Sewing Stations with plenty of room to sew. (Feel free to bring your own chair)
• Hours of sewing for the duration of the Retreat

Description
April 9 – 13, 2025

• The sewing rooms will be set up for 1 quilter per 6-foot table. We have 2 different rooms that will used.
• Sew whenever you want day or night from Wednesday at 12 pm until Sunday at 9 am check out Sunday at 12pm.
• You may work on whatever projects you’d like (Please don’t have machine embroidery).
• There is nice overhead lighting but you might want to bring your own light.
• There will be ironing stations with full-size irons.
• There will be cutting stations with mats. Please bring your own rotary cutter and rulers.
• A Table for Snacks. Please bring snacks to share at the snack table. We all get hungry late at night. We’ll have paper plates, napkins, silverware, etc.
• Door prizes
• Coffee, tea, and water will be available.
• If you need an iron by your sewing machine it must be one of the small travel or mini irons.  Full-size irons are not allowed at individual tables.

Registration payments can be made using any credit/debit card.
No refund unless we are able to fill your spot with someone from the waitlist.  If we can fill the spot then a refund (less $50 processing fee) will be issued.
